I may be an advocate for gender neutral kids rooms, but I’m definitely a girly girl who loves all things pink and adorable. Today I decided to share some more traditional ‘girls’ rooms – nurseries, playrooms, and big kid rooms! There are some absolutely stunning rooms out there that were just begging to be shared. Some of the design choices are even perfect for grown ups too.
I love adding touches of whimsy to childrens rooms, but there are a few things you should remember. One – a nursery is a space more for the parent than the child. Two – storage should be easy for kids to use, and easy for parents to clean. And three – eventually your baby will grow up (which is very sad) so consider making the base design of the room something that will transition with age.
