Chic and elegant aren’t really words that come to mind when you think about wallpaper, but the art of the wall covering has changed so much that you can find anything you like! I love the subtle prints and metallic sheens, but there are also some great printed options like complete murals, or wallpaper patterned in brick or wood styles. So if you’re lost for that special something to put on your wall, maybe wallpaper is the solution.
I love using wallpaper to add something unexpected to a space. Think about adding a bold print to your kitchen, a shimmering metallic to your powder room, or even a bright colour on your ceiling! If you’re not into the full wallpaper look, try trimming a roll down to fit in a large frame and use it as an art piece.
You can also get temporary wallpaper, which is easier to put up and can be removed quickly and safely. This is perfect for children’s rooms; you don’t have to put in so much effort when they get tired of it. Temporary wallpaper is also good for rental spaces, since you have to put everything back to normal when you move out!
