To round off my three-piece series for Women’s History Month, I’ve decided to feature someone I idolise – both career-wise and personally. Kelly Wearstler is one of the biggest names in the design industry, and every acclamation is well deserved. She has an eye for combining the natural nature of pieces with her refined taste and expertise in crafting beautiful products and spaces.
Kelly has collaborated with some of the worlds most renowned brands, from Groundworks to Bergdorf Goodman. She even has a bespoke furniture collection, and touches of her design work can be found in luxury hotels all over the world. Her flagship boutique in Los Angeles is packed full of her beautifully curated selections of home decor, jewellery, accessories and a range of items perfect for gifting.
Not only is her taste in furnishings impeccable, but so is her expansive and gorgeous wardrobe. Kelly carries off the same feel in her outfits as she does in her design work – raw and refined. She looks almost effortlessly put-together, touches of glamour mixed in with more casual pieces to create a chic and unique style. I can’t forget to mention – she also has really cool hair!
If you’re interested in getting to know more about Kelly and her World, you can find her on social media (facebook, her shop instagram and personal instagram, pinterest, twitter, google+ and polyvore) and don’t forget to head to her online shop to browse for some pieces that you’ll never regret buying. One day I hope that my career looks similar to hers! She’s my ultimate inspiration.
I hope you had a great March, and are looking forward to April as much as I am! Let me know if you have any inspiring women that you’d like to share with the world!
